As you may already know, we’ve recently reached the massive milestone of $1M in total volume, all thanks to the community’s passion and dedication to the MFL universe. You can read about the journey to one million, and what we’re doing to celebrate this achievement, in this article.
At the center of the celebrations: The Million Dollar Tournament, a special co-op competition that brings teamwork into the equation!
Whether you’re a seasoned manager or a newcomer eager to make your mark, this tournament is your arena to showcase strategic prowess and team collaboration. Here’s everything you need to know about this first-of-its-kind competition👇
Two-step Entry Process
There are two steps you must take in order to enter the competition:
- Join an alliance or create your own
- Register your club on the competition’s page
Create and Form Alliances
Collaboration and strategy take center stage. Managers are invited to form alliances of five clubs each to compete in the Million Dollar Tournament.
🚀 You can create your own alliance, setting it to public for open enrollment, or password-protected to invite a select few managers only.
🎨 Each alliance can be personalized with a unique name, color, and logo, embodying the spirit and identity of the group.

Entry Rules and Requirements
1️⃣ Each manager can only enter ONE club
If you are at the helm of multiple clubs, it’s time to make a strategic choice. Select the club that either stands the best chance of success based on its current form or best complements the overall strengths of your alliance.
👔 The alliance composition rules are based on the managers’ club portfolio. Specifically, within each alliance:
- No more than three managers can own clubs that are in the Gold Division or higher.
- Only one of these managers can own a club that is in the Diamond League.
Register your club to the Million Dollar Tournament
You just need to have a full squad under contract. Fatigue is disabled.
Competitive Play
📆 Schedule and Matchmaking
Each club in an alliance will compete in five matches, designed to test their mettle against three evenly matched opponents, one weaker team, and one stronger team. This structure not only promotes fairness but also adds an element of unpredictability and excitement to the tournament.
🏆 Scoring System
The path to victory is clear: wins bring in three points, draws earn one, and losses yield none. The cumulative points of all teams in an alliance will determine their position on the leaderboard.
Tournament Prizes
📈 Leaderboard
The top five alliances on the leaderboard at the tournament’s conclusion will be rewarded with a share of 13,500 MFL Points.
🍀 Lucky Draw
Additionally, every point earned by each alliance translates into an entry in a draw, where members of three lucky alliances will win 150 MFL Points each, giving every participants a chance to score.
